Materials & Techniques
Lisa is the only artist to work with specialized alkyd oil paints on a large scale. She discovered the unique reactionary properties of these materials and how to use them through years of trial and error. Developing her own techniques using droppers, bamboo sticks, volume layering, and calculated pouring, Lisa's artwork is truly original and still evolving.
Style
Lisa's artwork utilizes heavy relief outlines, vibrant colors, and striking blending. Her style draws on elements Japanese Ukiyo-E ink and painting pieces as well as contemporary Art Nouveau.
